Leslie D. Locke
Leslie D. Locke has 40 years of experience providing legal representation, guidance and advice to businesses and individuals in lawsuits. He has represented clients in all phases of pre-trial discovery, depositions, pre-trial and post-trial motion practice, trials and appeals in state and federal courts, mediations and domestic and international arbitrations and in negotiating and documenting settlements.
Since 2012, Les has been Of Counsel to Pasulka & Associates, PC, and has concentrated his practice in family law matters in the Circuit Courts of Cook County and Lake County. He has also handled cases involving post-decree review, modifications of maintenance and child support, relocation of minor children, and contempt proceedings. Les has extensive experience working with high net worth clients.
He has counseled and represented clients on matters of planning, strategy, tactics, spousal support (maintenance), child support, parenting agreements, emergency motions, temporary orders, property division, dissipation, discovery from parties and non-parties, marital settlement agreements, pre-marital agreements, and child custody matters among others.
Prior to affiliating with Pasulka &Associates, PC, Les spent 30 years of his legal career at the prominent Chicago law firms of Kirkland & Ellis and Ross & Hardies, where he litigated civil damage and injunction actions, took discovery, tried cases, mediated and arbitrated cases, argued and briefed appeals and counseled clients on litigation and settlement strategies and on creditor’s rights, antitrust law, Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code and other substantive legal matters. Les joined McGuireWoods LLP as a partner following its 2003 merger with Ross & Hardies. He is a member of the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Les graduated with honors from Cornell Law School, where he was co-managing editor of the Cornell Law Review. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington and Lee University. Following graduation from college, he served three years active duty in the United States Navy Reserve.
Well-respected in the legal community, Les is currently Peer Rated for the highest level of Professional Excellence and Endorsed for Ethical Standing by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
