Maria A. Sfreddo received a Bachelor's of Social Work, magna cum laude, from Miami University and a law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Sfreddo was selected as a Chancellor's Scholar for her academic achievement and commitment to public service.
After law school, Maria was awarded an Equal Justice Works Fellowship, sponsored by Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Maria worked for two years at the Legal Assistance Foundation where she represented low-income victims of domestic violence in complex domestic relations proceedings and related immigration matters. Additionally, Maria has held city-wide workshops and seminars on paternity, child support, domestic violence, custody, and divorce, and has served as a legal consultant for various day care centers around Chicago. Maria is fluent in Spanish and was featured in the Huffington Post for her work as an Equal Justice Works Fellow in the Spanish-speaking community.
Maria joined Pasulka & Associates, P.C. in 2011 where she concentrates her practice exclusively in the area of family law, including child custody, paternity, visitation, child support, divorce and domestic violence.
